Our restaurant is a collective of amazing people who strive to bring you delicious Italian cuisine!
For Italians, food isn’t just something that keeps us alive… it is an integral aspect of our culture and way of life. We created Viva La Cena because we wanted to share our passion for genuine Italian cuisine with others. If you can’t go to Italy, we’ll bring a small part of our beautiful country to you.
We want you to experience the warm, inviting atmosphere… the authentically-Italian aromas and flavors of our delectable dishes, from our mouth-watering pasta to our delicious entrées. At Viva La Cena, we want you to experience the full flavor of Italy!
Owner Cesare Condello was born in Milan, Italy but raised in Edmonton, Alberta. Many of his fondest childhood memories are of spending time in the kitchen with his mamma e papà who taught him to cook. When the family moved to Vancouver he continued to hone his craft in the kitchen before seeking out other like-minded Italians to help him open his own restaurant and share his love of Italian cuisine with Canadians.
We love serving the good people of Vancouver and hope to be expanding to Edmonton and Calgary later this year.
